Group Policies can be defined in each group to enforce certain configurations or options for all members. Navigate to the Manage Groups option under the group dropdown menu and click Edit.
Select the Group Policies tab to enforce a group policy. Currently, the following group policies are supported:
- Require Witness Signature for Experiments – enforce a second digital signature for counter-signing all experiments in the group
- Enforce Assigned Witness Signature for Experiments – witness signatures for experiments can only be completed by the assigned witness. Note: when turned off, any collaborator with witness signing permissions may sign the experiment
- Restart - Only Procedure Sections – hides the option to edit text, makes Restart action the default interaction for a procedure section
- Require Signature for Protocols – enforce a signature to publish a draft version of a protocol
- Require Witness Signature for Protocols – enforce a second digital signature for counter-signing all protocols in the group
- Enforce Assigned Witness Signature for Experiments – witness signatures for protocols can only be completed by the assigned witness Note: when turned off, any collaborator with witness signing permissions may witness the protocol
- Enforce Password Policy - enforces a password policy for all members in the lab
- Enforce Two-Step Verification – enforce two-step verification for all lab members when logging into the application
Click Save to enforce the enabled group policies.
