To further improve the efficiency of routine laboratories, users can also choose to group multiple experiment templates and automatically add them when creating a new study. Click the Add Template Group button in Experiment Templates.
Note: the option to create a study template is not active by default, but requires the installation of the Study Template add-on in our Marketplace
To define a study template consisting of multiple chained experiment templates, select the Experiment Templates in the left panel and click the arrow icons to move them to the right panel. When updating an experiment template, be aware that this will affect all study templates where the experiment template was used.
Note: the same experiment templates can be used in multiple study templates
Once the user has defined a study template, they can select the option to add a study from a template when creating a study. After selecting this option, users can choose the template from the revealed dropdown menu.
All experiments defined in the study template will be added to the new study. This allows groups to streamline the creation of research projects and to configure predefined studies for colleagues or students more efficiently.
