When multiple labs from the same organization use eLabJournal, the system also offers tools for administration on the organization level via the Organization Admin Panel. Once an organization has an appointed organization admin, the organization key-user can access the admin panel via Organization Admin.
Note: the option to assign an Organization Admin is only available for eLabNext Private Cloud and On-Premises installations
The organisation administrator has access to the following functionality:
- Account Management – centrally manage accounts within the organization
- Organisation Sharing – Changes to sharing settings for storage units, equipment, sample types and experiment templates to make them available for multiple groups in the organization.
- License Management - Manage licenses for groups within the organization
- License Reporting – System License reporting
- Data Recovery – Browse through the organization archive to restore archived projects, studies and experiments.
Note: access to each of these functionalities is controlled by the system administrator
