To update the device configuration, like changing device information or location, assigning or removing device managers and activating or deactivating the device planner and validation, browse to Configuration – Equipment and select the device from the list and click Edit.
After making the required changes, click Save and Close to complete the update of device information and/or settings.
Bulk updating equipment
Users can update equipment in bulk. This can be done from within the equipment section of the Inventory browser page. The following actions can be updated in bulk:
- Bookings
- Equipment Icon
- Manager
- Notes
- Status
- Equipment validation
Equipment Audit Trail
All changes and updates to equipment are logged in the equipment's audit trail. To view details of the changes, users can navigate to the Audit Trail tab of the specific equipment's page.
