After a user has set up their account, they have the option to Create or Join a Group. If an organisation is new to any eLabNext applications, it should create a group. If an organisation is already using eLabJournal, users can gain access to their workspace by requesting access to groups.
Click Join Group to view a list of all groups within a user's company or institute. Users can request to join a group by clicking Request an Invitation.
Note: groups in the system are automatically linked to an organisation when creating a group. Users are linked to an organisation in a system based on their email domain. In the event that a lab moves to another organisation, please contact eLabNext support to migrate your group.
Once a request has been sent, the group administrator receives an email notification and a message on the dashboard informing them of the users request.
