Account registration
To use eLabNext, users must first sign up to register their account. Registering for an account and subscription is possible through contacting our sales department
- If your organization has linked a Single Sign-On (SSO) provider to eLabNext, your account may be created automatically the first time you log in.
- After registration, ensure that your account is activated (for example, via the activation email if applicable).
Logging in
Once your account is registered and activated go to the eLabNext login page used by your organisation and tailored to your subscription.
Organization login
For academic organizations, eLabNext also supports authentication via SURFconext in the EU Cloud. If your organization is registered with SURFconext, eLabNext can add it to our list of registered institutes, allowing users to log in using their institutional credentials.
Login issues (EU / US server routing)
If your login attempt fails, you may have been routed to the incorrect regional server (EU or US). Please refer to the EU and US Servers section above for instructions on how to access the correct environment.
Federated and organization login options
eLabJournal supports several federated authentication methods, including:
- Active Directory (AD)
- Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS)
- LDAP-compatible authentication systems
Note: These authentication options are only available for Private Cloud or On-Premises installations.
Dedicated installations
Note: If your organization uses a dedicated Private Cloud or On-Premises installation of eLabNext, the registration and login URLs are different from the public cloud.
Please contact eLabNext Support or your organization’s administrator to obtain the correct, organization-specific login URL.
