Due to structural differences between Labfolder and SciSure, certain elements cannot currently be migrated. These items are out of scope for the migration and are therefore not considered migration defects.
The following elements are not migrated:
Tags
Tags used in Labfolder entries are not transferred during migration.
Users can instead organize their work using projects, studies, and experiments in SciSure.
Comments
Comments attached to Labfolder entries are not migrated.
If comments contain important information, users should copy them into the entry content before migration.
Custom Date Fields
Custom date fields created in Labfolder are not supported in the same format and therefore cannot be migrated.
Entry History and Audit Trails
Detailed entry history and revision logs from Labfolder are not migrated.
SciSure maintains its own experiment versioning and history system for newly created content.
Deleted Entries
Entries that were previously deleted in Labfolder will not be included in the migration dataset.
Signatures
Electronic signatures from Labfolder are not migrated and must be recreated in SciSure if required.

Groups, Sub-Groups, and Permission Structures
Group structures, sharing settings, and permissions are not migrated because Labfolder and SciSure use different permission models.
After migration:
- Experiments will initially include only the original entry owner as collaborator.
- Groups and user permissions must be recreated manually in SciSure.
